Common questions

How does pay work?+

Chauffeurs earn a base fare per trip plus mileage, with 100% of tips retained. Payouts are direct-deposited weekly every Friday. Higher rates apply for airport, corporate, and hourly work.

Can I use my own vehicle or do I need a company vehicle?+

Both are welcome. If you drive your own vehicle, it must be a late-model sedan or SUV in excellent condition. Company vehicles are available for qualified drivers on scheduled shifts.

What kind of hours can I work?+

You choose your availability — full-time or part-time. Airport transfers dominate mornings, corporate travel weekdays, events and night-out on evenings and weekends. Block your preferred hours in the app.

What insurance do I need?+

If driving your own vehicle you must carry commercial livery or TNC-endorsed insurance meeting Texas minimums. BlackX carries supplemental commercial coverage during active trips.
